About
Pregnancy Pal was born in 2023 and exists because finding clear, honest, genuinely helpful pregnancy information online can feel much harder than it should be.
Our founder, Samantha Bevington, felt the need to bring the expertise of the UK’s independent perinatal experts under one roof.
Pregnancy is unique. One minute you’re excited, the next you’re deep in a search spiral reading ten different opinions that all say something slightly different. It’s a lot. And when you’re already feeling tired, emotional or unsure, the last thing you need is more confusion.
This space was created to make pregnancy feel a little bit calmer and a lot more supported. Nothing dramatic or overwhelming.
Just the kind of online magazine you can get stuck into and find the answers to your questions as well as some new topics you might not have thought about yet. Pregnancy and parenthood is such a journey and you just don’t know what you’ll need to know about next.

Pregnancy Pal is a UK-based resource built around real life, not the polished version of it. The version where excitement and worry sit side by side. We’ve felt it ourselves and we know you’re trying to do your best with the information you’ve got.
Sometimes you just want something explained in plain English without being made to feel silly for asking, so we’ve tried to do just that.
Everything here is shaped by a simple idea. Pregnancy reading should be easy to understand, grounded in trusted guidance and delivered in a way that actually feels supportive.
Not clinical. Not full of jargon. We provide links to the latest studies, NHS guidance and research for your own peace of mind and we also bring experts on board to share their own expertise with you.
We offer an alternative point of view whilst pointing you to the evidence base, so you can make your own decisions about parenting.
At the heart of it all is one belief. Every parent deserves to feel informed, supported and quietly confident as they move through pregnancy and into life with their baby.
